Prior to this entry, I’ve written lotsa claptraps.. Now its time to b a lil bit ‘intelectual’..
(Plz bang my head.. Im now attempting to blow my own horn.. Feel displeased? (Cam bese jom lawan snake xenzia!) Hep hep.. Siriyes neh!
“Wat course r u takin?”
“Political Science..”
“Wow! Politician wanna be..”
_Frown + Puckering brows_
Wat da french-fries!
Ladies n gentlemen, plz dun get confused between these 2..
Political scientists & politicians are two different individuals. Dey’re not similar at all..
Jz wanna correct ur perception bout tis ting..
Political science is a field of study which has bcome one of the main disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, laws etc..
We (political science disciples) investigate, evaluate, expound, interpret and infer some theories, paradigms n ideologies brought by political scientists.. Unlike politicians tat will only do business wif how to gain power and authority, strengthen position and keep sustaining the sovereignty of the state.
Yet, politicians are not merely our subject matter.. Nation history, wars, international economy, policies, laws are also have been taken into considerations.
We’re not a part of problem but we’re a part of solution..
Obviously, we dun go for election for certain portfolio in parliament.. We dun deal wif ppl’s objection and disagreement or even discontentment (except for minor quarrelling between classmates.. Oooo..) and we dun solicit people to vote for us… We don’t!
So, plz dun come out wif such ‘expectation’ above.. I dun wanna b a politician anyway..
Will u expect laws graduate will become a lawyer or engineering graduate will definitely bcome an engineer? Being a political student will never guarantee u to b a politician because there is no such requirement entailed in the list of criteria to be a politician.. Regardless u come from political science, architecture, education or medicine, as long as you have a good hallmark n potential to b elected, jz go ahead.. Dun hve to further ur second degree in Poltical Science.. =D
